چکیده
This article presents a readout integrated circuit (ROIC) for capacitive touch-screen panels (TSPs) employing an amplitude-modulated multiple-frequency excitation (AM-MFE) technique. To prevent charge overflow, which occurs periodically at the beat frequency of frequencies, ROIC modulates amplitude voltages mixing derived from frequencies. Thus, can sense signal without overflow and maximize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by increasing up to sensing range circuit. The proposed was fabricated in 0.13- $\mu \text{m}$ standard CMOS process measured with 32-in 104 notation="LaTeX">$\times $ 64 panel using 1 10 mm metal pillars. It reduces 33.9 dB compared operation AM-MFE. In addition, achieves frame rate 2.93 kHz, SNRs 41.7 61.6 pillars, respectively.

Using tangible drawing tools on a capacitive multi-touch display
We present an innovative drawing tool that can detect tangible drawing instruments on a capacitive multi-touch tablet. There are three core components to the system: the tangible hardware, the recognizer used to identify the tangibles, and the drawing application. Our tangible drawing instruments include a ruler, protractor and set square. Users can apply these familiar physical instruments to ...

متن کاملParallel Imaging with RASER using Multiband Frequency-modulated Excitation Pulses
Introduction: The recently described RASER sequence is a conceptual novelty in MR imaging [1]. Based on frequency-swept excitation, and timeencoding, RASER is a rapid, pure T2-weighted scheme without signal voids, ghosting and distortion artifacts present in conventional echo-planar imaging (EPI). These properties render it attractive for functional imaging (fMRI). However, in the previous impl...

متن کاملTouchKeys: Capacitive Multi-Touch Sensing on a Physical Keyboard
Capacitive touch sensing is increasingly used in musical controllers, particularly those based on multi-touch screen interfaces. However, in contrast to the venerable piano-style keyboard, touch screen controllers lack the tactile feedback many performers find crucial. This paper presents an augmentation system for acoustic and electronic keyboards in which multi-touch capacitive sensors are ad...
